One possible explanation is that artists often draw inspiration from their own personal struggles and experiences, leading to the creation of emotionally heavy and introspective music. Additionally, societal and global challenges, such as the pandemic and political unrest, may also influence the themes and tone of contemporary music. Furthermore, the rise of streaming platforms and social media has made it easier for artists to connect with audiences on a more personal level, leading to a greater emphasis on vulnerability and raw emotion in their music. **
