Fixating on people too quickly can be a sign of being overly eager or intense in forming connections. It's important to take the time to get to know someone and allow the relationship to develop naturally. If you find yourself fixating on people too quickly, it may be helpful to take a step back and focus on building a strong foundation for the relationship rather than rushing into things. It's also important to be mindful of your own boundaries and to give the other person space to express themselves and develop their own feelings. **

Women may fixate on height because society often places value on taller men as being more attractive, dominant, and masculine. This can lead to women feeling pressure to seek out taller partners in order to fit societal norms or feel more feminine. Additionally, height can be associated with a sense of security and protection, which may be appealing to some women. Ultimately, individual preferences and societal influences can contribute to why some women place importance on a partner's height. **

People often tend to live in the past and fixate on the negative because it can be easier to dwell on past mistakes or negative experiences than to confront and address them. Additionally, the human brain has a natural tendency to remember negative events more vividly than positive ones, which can contribute to fixating on the negative. Furthermore, societal and cultural influences, as well as personal experiences, can shape an individual's mindset to focus on the negative aspects of their past. **

Stars seem to disappear when you try to fixate on them at night because of the way our eyes work. When we look directly at a star, the light from the star falls on the fovea, the part of the retina with the highest concentration of cones, which are responsible for color vision and detail. However, the fovea is not as sensitive to dim light as the surrounding parts of the retina, so the star may appear to dim or disappear. Additionally, the constant movement of our eyes, known as microsaccades, can also cause the star to appear to flicker or disappear as we try to fixate on it. **
