Bus stop signs are typically green bordered to make them easily recognizable and distinguishable from other types of signs. The color green is commonly associated with transportation and is often used to indicate locations where vehicles can stop or park. Additionally, the green color helps to convey the message that the area is designated for buses to pick up and drop off passengers. This consistent color scheme helps to create a standardized and easily identifiable signage system for bus stops. **
