Music is becoming sadder due to various factors such as societal issues, personal struggles, and the need for emotional expression. Artists often draw inspiration from their own experiences and the world around them, leading to more introspective and melancholic themes in their music. Additionally, listeners may be seeking out music that resonates with their own emotions, leading to a rise in popularity of sadder songs. Overall, the shift towards sadder music reflects a desire for authenticity and vulnerability in art. **

Music often reflects the emotions and experiences of society, and as people navigate challenges and difficult times, they may turn to music as a way to express their feelings. This can lead to an increase in sadder or more introspective music being created and consumed. Additionally, artists may use music as a form of catharsis, processing their own emotions and struggles through their art, which can contribute to a trend of sadder music. Finally, the cyclical nature of music trends means that certain emotions or themes may become more prevalent for a period of time before shifting to something else. **

I find "Grave of the Fireflies" to be sadder than "Clannad." The heartbreaking story of two siblings struggling to survive during World War II in "Grave of the Fireflies" evokes a deep sense of tragedy and loss. On the other hand, while "Clannad" has its emotional moments, the overall tone is more hopeful and uplifting, making it slightly less sad in comparison. **

The scene from Titanic that is often considered the saddest is when the ship is sinking and the orchestra continues to play as chaos ensues around them. This moment captures the tragedy and loss of life in a poignant and emotional way. Additionally, the scene where Rose lets go of Jack and he sinks into the ocean is also incredibly heartbreaking, as it symbolizes the ultimate sacrifice and loss of love. Both scenes are powerful and evoke deep emotions from the audience. **
